Kevin I dont know who the bomber guy is but I wanted to make things clear so everyone knows what happened. The guy that pinch hit for Clint was Poyner and he is a lefty. I don t think that Bumpy Oak tried to lose to Combine (twice) nor will that one game be the deciding factor if the Luberkings fail to qualify for the playoffs. Legion is a quality team loaded with talent that should have more than eight wins.

it could be both, it depends on how bad you have to go. i thought i would relax with some reading material, but after a minute or so and reading the stats twice i found myself sitting there helpless with nothing to read except for the directions on my six pack of charmin, lesson learned

No one ever wants to lose three guys like we did but with all do respect to those three guys...we picked up some very good ball players from st marys college. With a very young team its going to take some time for us to get it together but don t be surprised of some upsets this year from Combine. We are being looked over right now, and if I recall we were looked over last year too.

Mr. William "Bill" E. Wood passed away Tuesday at the age of 88. He was from Bryans Road,Indian Head and played in CHASM. I don t know what years but do know he was on the 1948 Bryans Road team and believe they won the league. He was an outfielder and I hear was pretty good. He loved baseball and im proud,honored to play in the same league he and other family members played in. RIP Pop-pop.
